Great excitement has been rippling through Jewish Communities all over the world, in every continent and in every Jewish center, over the electrifying news about Maran Rabbi Shabsi HaKohen, ‘The Shach’. His descendants are presently engaged in stages of establishing a fully equipped Hospitality Center in the city of Holešov, in the Czech Republic, very close to  the burial site of the famous and holy Rabbi.

The ‘Hospitality Center’ will, b’ezras Hashem, hold everything necessary for the spiritual and physical comfort of the thousands of Yidden who are expected to be visitors each year, coming from all over the world. The Center will contain an ample Beis Medrash, filled with holy books for study and prayer. There will also be a luxurious mikvah, which will comply with all necessary stringencies, of course with hygienic showering facilities. Another feature of the center will be a dining area, and there will be a bedroom wing to accommodate chaburos of bocherim and yungerlite which will come to the holy site for shabbosim and the yahrtzeit.

AN HISTORIC BREAKTHROUGH –– THE KOHANIM GALLERY

In what amounts to an historic breakthrough, there is going to be a special area in the Beis Medrash, known as the Kohanim Gallery. This will feature large ‘picture windows’ overlooking the cemetary, to enable kohanim – who can’t enter the area of the grave-site – to have a direct line of site to the tziun from as near as possible. This special feature of the Center will enable kohanim, who previously were excluded from experiencing the visit to the tziun, to participate with others in praying at the holy site, because of the tziun being towards the back of the cemetary.
